Job summary

Crackle & Pop Catering Pty Ltd trading as CATERING HQ PITTWATER is seeking full-time Chefs and Cooks for their busy restaurant located at Pittwater RSL in Sydney’s north. Salary is $79k–$85k per year plus super. The role requires a relevant industry qualification and 1–2 years of experience.

You must be available nights, weekends, and school holidays to join our team. Qualified candidates should have strong prep, cooking and plating skills, focus on quality, and be able to assist with menu

Qualifications

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills.
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends and techniques.
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control.
• Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning.
• Stock ordering.
• Labour cost control and rostering support.
• A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS.
• Immaculate presentation and grooming.
• Ability to handle large service numbers.
• Above average customer care and service skills.
• Must be able to train our junior team on cooking techniques and procedures.
• Assist with staff hiring and training.

Whether you're planning a celebration with the family, having a dinner with friends, looking for a place to watch the footy on the big screen, seeking live entertainment or looking for a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy time out – Pittwater is your destination. To be considered for the role, you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.
