Job summary

Beach House Coomera is looking for qualified Chefs & Cooks to join our Beach House Bar & Grill Coomera location for both casual and full-time positions. Lunch and dinner are served 7 days, with breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays in a modern open style venue with a state-of-the-art fit out.

As a team member you will be expected to work well in a busy kitchen, lead by example, and uphold high standards of food preparation, hygiene, and presentation while mentoring junior staff and ensuring smooth

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant employment experience is required.
• Ideally hold vocational or tertiary qualifications.
• Have full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard.
• Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines.
• Prepare, cook and present food for consumption.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service.

Beach House Coomera is proudly a part of a privately owned local Hospitality Group with multiple venues across South-East Queensland.

We are looking for qualified Chefs & Cooks to join our Beach House Bar & Grill Coomera location for both casual & full-time positions.

Our venues:

Lunch and dinner 7 days

Breakfast on Saturday and Sundays

Modern open style venue with state of the art fit out

Tasks & Responsibilities of the role:

Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible

Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines

To prepare, cook and present (or otherwise delegate to other kitchen staff) food for consumption

Providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the kitchen staff

Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service

About you:

Be able to work well in a team environment and lead by example

Excellent technical knowledge with experience in all cooking techniques and styles

Happy toworkin a busy fast paced kitchen

Flexible availability of a 7 day/night roster
