Locations include The Waves Club Elliott Heads, The Waves Sports Club Norville, and The Waves Club Caloundra, with a focus on Modern Australian cuisine and high standards of presentation.

Qualifications

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills.
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes.
• Interest in growing food trends and techniques.
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control.
• Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning.
• Stock ordering and labour cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to high standards in a busy kitchen.
• Assist with menu planning, costing and quantity estimates.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Lead and train junior team members and supervise rostering.
• Ensure consistent presentation and timely service during peak periods.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply orders.

• -Above average customer care and service skills
• -Training of junior team members on cooking techniques and procedures

• -Assist with staff hiring and training
• -Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• -Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team

• -Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation YOU MUST BE
