Job summary

Laundy Hotel Group is seeking talented Chefs to join our kitchens across the Central Coast venues, including Woy Woy Hotel, Bayview Hotel, Chittaway Bay Tavern, Northlakes Tavern, and Orana Hotel.

We welcome Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, and qualified Chefs looking for new opportunities to work in dynamic, high-volume kitchens alongside passionate hospitality professionals. Competitive remuneration based on experience, with full-time and casual positions available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and strong team player mentality.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with venue standards and recipes.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Assist with stock control and minimising wastage.
• Collaborate with the BOH and FOH teams to deliver exceptional service during busy periods.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials where required.
• Support and mentor junior kitchen staff when appropriate.
