Job summary

CH on Peel Pty Ltd (Trading As Central Hospitality Group) is expanding and seeks full-time Chefs/Cooks for its Tamworth operations. The role involves operating kitchens, training staff, and delivering high-end dishes across multiple venues. A relevant cookery qualification is preferred and 2–3 years’ kitchen experience is expected.

Remuneration ranges from $58,000 to $75,000 plus statutory superannuation. Nights and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant commercial kitchen experience.
• Be able to work independently.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team.
• A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate our kitchens and meet KPI targets.
• Assist with selecting and recruiting kitchen staff.
• Train kitchen staff in processing, cooking and high-end food presentation techniques.
• Oversee and prepare, cook and present dishes.
• Inspect and prepare fresh ingredients for cooking and meal preparation.
• Stock control and minimize wastage; order and maintain stock levels.
• Rostering kitchen staff and managing day-to-day issues.
• Work with service managers to update and improve menus across our kitchens.
