Eurest at Compass Group Australia is seeking a part-time/casual Chef in Maroochydore. Responsibilities include assisting in preparation, cooking and presentation across menus, with attention to nutrition, allergies, and cost control.

Shift availability from 5:30am to 12:00pm across Mon-Sun, on-site with parking and staff discounts. The role requires a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or 3 years in a fast-paced setting, egg station experience preferred, and strong teamwork to

Responsabilités

• Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure high standard across menus and daily specials.
• Promote nutrition and healthy eating awareness.
• Champion allergy awareness and ensure controls are followed.
• Influence food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control.
• Ensure safe production of a high-quality product per safety guidelines.

Chef - Part-Time / Casual

$29.46 Per Hour to $36.82 inclusive of 25% casual loading + Penalty rates + 12% Superannuation

Located in the heart of Maroochydore Availability cross Monday to Sunday starting from 5:30am to 12:00pm, finish early allows for work-life balance Stable roster with regular hours

THE POSITION

• Assisting and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
• Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
• Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
• Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided.

THE PERSON

• Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery or 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting
• Egg station experience preferred
• Ability to work within budgets
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
