Job summary

Eurest in Berry, NSW is seeking a Casual Cook to assist with bulk cooking and presentation for diverse settings. You’ll support meal prep, allergen controls, and HACCP-based hygiene while helping manage costs in a close-knit team.

Benefits include complimentary meals, uniforms, and access to discounts. A Working with Children Check is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bulk/high-volume cooking experience.
• Strong allergen management and dietary knowledge, esp. for children.
• Ability to lead junior and senior kitchen staff.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and OH&S.
• Willing to obtain/hold Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, bulk cooking, and presenting meals to high standards.
• Cater for large school groups, corporate functions, and daily guests.
• Ensure dietary requirements and allergen controls are met.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP compliance, control waste and costs.
• Support development of healthy menu options and nutrition awareness.
