Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery or 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting.
• Egg station experience preferred
• Ability to work within budgets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate to juniors & senior staff

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure high standard across menus and daily specials.
• Promote nutrition and healthy eating awareness.
• Champion allergy awareness and ensure controls are followed.
• Influence food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control.
• Ensure safe production of a high-quality product per safety guidelines.
