Job summary

Cater Care Services seeks to appoint a culinary professional to the role of Chef based on a 14/14 roster at our mining village operation in NT. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation and ensuring safety and quality across all meals.

Key duties include adhering to dietary requirements, stock management, and maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen. You'll work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment while upholding Cater Care safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and presentation for breakfast, crib, dinner, dessert and functions.
• Adherence to dietary requirements and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with the Food safety program.
• Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils.
• Adhere to legislated food hygiene and general safety practices.
• Provide fast, effective service with a smile.
• Assist the broader team as required.
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture aligned with Cater Care Safety Commitments.
