Job summary

EVT invites applications for a Chef de Partie position at Rydges Pit Lane, part of EVT's hospitality network across Australia. You will prepare high quality dishes across services in line with hotel standards, maintain recipes, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to deliver consistent experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie is highly regarded.
• Strong foundation in food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Demonstrates hygiene, safety and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality dishes across all services in line with hotel standards.
• Prepare sauces, soups, hot dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts and specialty items.
• Maintain recipe knowledge and follow standard recipes for all menu items.
• Uphold portion control, waste minimisation and quality control.
• Monitor storage, rotation and cleanliness to meet WH&S standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams respectfully and follow policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality dishes across all services in line with hotel standards
• Prepare sauces, soups, hot dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts and specialty items

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie highly regarded
• Solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• A passion for quality produce and thoughtful, well executed dishes
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety and presentation
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine love of hospitality
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, can do attitude
