Mezepotamia in Redfern, Sydney, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work across grill, hot and cold sections, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation during busy services.

Minimum 2 years' experience, ability to rotate between sections, and reliable, punctual performance under pressure are essential. Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not available. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Ability to rotate between grill, hot, and cold kitchen sections.
• Experience in a busy restaurant kitchen.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights are essential; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.
• Experience in Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Work across multiple kitchen sections, including grill, hot kitchen and cold preparation.
• Manage different sections independently during busy services.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
