Job summary

Bankstown Sports’ La Piazza in South West Sydney is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef de Partie to help run a high-volume Italian kitchen. You’ll own your section, work efficiently under pressure, and contribute to consistent quality during peak services.

We’re after 2–3 years in a similar role, strong HACCP knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm, organised, and flexible across evenings, weekends and public holidays. On-site parking and meals included.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong food preparation and kitchen operations knowledge.
• Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to stay calm and perform under pressure.
• Great communication and teamwork.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Running your section efficiently during service.
• Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and portion control.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Contributing to a safe, positive and productive kitchen environment.
• Supporting the wider team during busy service periods.
