Job summary

My Muscle Chef is hiring two Chef De Partie at our Yennora NSW facility. You will prepare meals to high standards, lead your section, and support chefs on shift. Shifts: Afternoon and Night, Sunday to Thursday.

Join a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen and contribute to scale-up production while adhering to food safety and GMP policies. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years CDP experience, strong leadership, time-management and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for great food and training junior

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar hands-on kitchen role.
• Passion for producing high-quality food consistently.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Collaborative attitude in a fast-paced kitchen team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Willingness to train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals at scale with consistency and presentation.
• Own your section and keep service running smoothly during shift.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and production needs.
• Lead, support and train Commis Chefs, Cooks and Apprentices on shift.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
• Monitor portion control, quality and waste; assist in efficient production.
• Complete required shift documentation accurately.
• Identify and communicate quality, equipment or production issues.
• Provide a clear end-of-shift handover to Head Chef and team.
