Job summary

Workers Hubertus in Luddenham is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, reporting to the Sous Chef and delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for your designated section, ensuring food safety and presentation, while supporting the broader kitchen team to create memorable experiences for our members and guests.

Essential qualification: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, with at least two years in a professional kitchen;

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Desirable: Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Minimum 2 years in a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Strong food preparation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Manage your designated kitchen section and ensure efficient service during busy trading periods - bistro and functions.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials and new menu ideas.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise food wastage and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve service and operational objectives.
• Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen team members where required.
