Workers Hubertus in Luddenham is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, reporting to the Sous Chef and delivering high-quality dishes for members and guests. You will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, ensuring food safety and efficient kitchen operations.

Essential requirements include 2 years in a similar role, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, and a Food Safety Supervisor certificate (desirable).

Qualifications

• 2 years in a Chef de Partie or similar professional kitchen role.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Manage your designated kitchen section and ensure efficient service during busy trading periods.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials and new menu ideas.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise food wastage and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve service and operational objectives.
• Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen team members.
