Job summary

Workers Hubertus in Luddenham, NSW, is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will manage your section, prepare and present high-quality dishes, and uphold food safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Essential qualifications include a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, 2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, and a strong focus on quality, teamwork and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar professional kitchen role (desirable 2 years experience).
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Manage your designated kitchen section and ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials and new menu ideas.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve objectives.
• Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen team members.
