Qualifications

• Must demonstrate capability in producing high quality meals.
• Ability to practice portion control and waste management.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Hotel kitchens produce high quality food at all times.
• Attend to guest needs and desires promptly.
• Prepare sauces, soups and hot dishes for service and events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of recipes for all menu items.
• Monitor food quality and storage to maintain standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working environment in the kitchen.
• Follow established recipes and kitchen policies.
• Support the Executive/Sous Chef with daily duties as required.
