The Boathouse Balmoral is hiring several full-time Chefs de Partie to join a vibrant, fast-paced kitchen by Balmoral Beach, Sydney. You’ll own your section, cook plates with pride, and mentor junior chefs under the guidance of an experienced team.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a busy kitchen, a calm, can-do attitude, and a commitment to high standards of food safety and presentation. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or international equivalent) is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years as a chef in a fast, high-volume kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or international equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Running your section from prep to pass, owning it.
• Cooking food you’re proud of, every plate, every service.
• Keeping the engine room tight with ordering, receiving, storage and stock rotation.
• Setting the standard for food safety, cleanliness and WH&S.
• Passing on knowledge by training and mentoring junior chefs.
• Helping the team grow in product knowledge, techniques, systems and tech.
• Working as one crew to deliver a memorable dining experience.
