Job summary

Hugos Manly, part of Manly Hospitality Operations Unit Trust, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie for an immediate start in Manly, NSW. This full-time, permanent role runs 38 hours per week and reports to the Head Chef, with duties including assisting the senior kitchen team and managing station setups.

You will handle stock control, ensure food quality, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and support the team during service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar role.
• Cert IV Commercial Cookery.

Responsibilities

• Back up the Head Chef & Sous Chef and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Stock control – par levels.
• Quality checks of purchased supplies and account for each delivered item.
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene; practice safe food handling.
• Observe Workplace Safety Procedures.

Job Description

Position Title: Chef de Partie Hugos Manly Salary: $79500 + 12 % Superannuation

Hugos Manly is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Manly, NSW. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for the following duties:

• To back up the Head Chef & Sous Chef in their absence Organising Commis chef, Apprentice Chefs & Cooks and delegating tasks accordingly Ordering
• Stock control – par levels Demonstrate team player skills to new, junior & apprentice staff Set up & Close
• Down section before & after service Food preparation Checking of all purchased supplies for quality and account for each delivered item
• Maintaining cleanliness at all times Using safe food handling procedures Cooking and preparing food to the consistently high standards set by Hugos
• Maintaining Workplace Safety standards (i.e. using the kitchen equipment in a safe and responsible manner) Exhibit a safe working knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products Maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness, presentation and personal hygiene
• Observe Workplace Safety Procedures For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience: Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar role OR
