The Commercial Hotel, Kingaroy, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team! Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.

The successful candidate will join a busy kitchen, bring experience from fast-paced environments, and contribute to rotating seasonal menus. A full-time position with salary and superannuation is offered.

Qualificações

• Formal qualifications or 3 years of relevant experience if no formal qualifications.
• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience.
• Availability to work any hospitality hours.
• Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues.
• Prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu.
• Ensure meals are high quality and prepared on time.
• Practise stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures.
• Assist with menu changes when required.

The Commercial Hotel, Kingaroy, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team! Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.

As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
• Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared on time
• Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
• Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
• Assisting with menu changes when required

Successful Candidate:

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Availability to work any hospitality hours
• Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
• Brilliant communication skills to all team members

Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
