Job summary

Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club & Golf Course on the NSW Central Coast invites an experienced Chef to join our team. You will prepare and serve meals to a consistently high quality, while supporting a kitchen team focused on superior flavour, presentation and guest satisfaction.

You will also assist with stock orders, equipment care, and menu planning within budget, maintaining top cleanliness and hygiene, and stepping in to lead operations when required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lead and drive team performance.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S procedures.

Responsibilities

Our kitchen services our restaurant and alfresco dining areas and also caters functions. Our kitchen team is made up of experienced staff dedicated to providing a memorable experience for our guests. About the Role

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Chef to join our team.

In this role you will:

• Prepare and serve meals to a consistently high quality
• Demonstrate a commitment to total customer satisfaction with the kitchen team to provide excellent product quality, flavour and presentation
• Order stock and maintain equipment
• Participate in preparing menus within budgeted food costs
• Participate in maintaining the kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards
• Lead the kitchen operations when required

About You

The successful applicant will be a passionate Chef that has:

• A relevant qualification and experience working as a chef in fast-paced kitchen environment
• A demonstrated desire to lead and drive success for the team
• A strong understanding of all OH&S procedures
• Versatility to work both day, night, split shifts & weekends
• You will have the very utmost respect of ingredients and what is sent out will always be consistently at our high standards.
