Job summary

Supamart is seeking an experienced Supermarket Customer Service Manager to lead the checkout team at the Tramsheds store. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, oversee rostering and staff development, and collaborate with store colleagues to maintain high standards of service and operation.

The role is full-time, scheduled Sunday to Thursday, with a focus on building a supportive, positive team environment and ensuring efficient service across the checkout area.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification plus two years full time relevant work experience or 3 years full time relevant work experience.
• Confident in developing and and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided for IGA supermarkets.
• The ability to manage, motivate and develop staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Liaise with other organisational units and customers to identify and respond to customer expectations.
• Work efficiently and effectively with other team members throughout the group.
• Rostering and assisting with the recruitment process.
• Providing ongoing staff supervision,direction and feedback to team members along with assisting in training and reviews.
• Stock/Wastage control

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee rostering and recruitment activities.
• Develop and review customer service policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other units to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor stock and wastage controls across stores.
