Supamart Cremorne seeks an experienced Supermarket Customer Service Manager (Checkout Manager) to lead a high-performance team in a multi-store independent family-owned grocer. The role focuses on delivering top-notch customer experiences, policy development, staff development, and effective store operations across an award environment.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in retail, strong interpersonal skills, and a track record of maintaining high service standards while staff rostering

Qualifications

• Formal qualification plus two years full-time relevant work experience or 3 years full-time relevant work experience.
• Confident in developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided for IGA supermarkets.
• Ability to manage, motivate and develop staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Liaise with other organisational units and customers to identify and respond to customer expectations.
• Roster and assist with the recruitment process.
• Providing ongoing staff supervision, direction and feedback to team members along with assisting in training and reviews.
• Stock/Wastage control.
