About the role

We are seeking a Charter Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, on a full-time basis. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for managing charter operations and delivering outstanding customer service to our clients. The Charter Specialist plays a critical role in our aviation services division, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, flight operations and scheduling teams. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism within the aviation charter market.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and managing charter flight requests from initial enquiry through to completion
• Working with clients to understand their specific charter requirements, timelines and preferences
• Coordinating with flight operations and crew scheduling to confirm flight availability and arrange appropriate aircraft
• Preparing comprehensive charter proposals and quotations for clients
• Managing charter bookings, amendments and cancellations in accordance with company procedures
• Ensuring all regulatory and safety requirements are met for each charter operation
• Handling customer communications and providing regular updates on charter status
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all charter transactions
• Supporting the resolution of any issues or special requests that arise during charter operations
• Contributing to the development and refinement of charter services and processes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in aviation services, charter operations or a similar customer-facing role within the transport and logistics sector
• Strong knowledge of charter operations, aircraft types and aviation industry practices
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency in aviation scheduling software and relevant computer systems
