Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking an experienced Change Lead for a major transformation program in Sydney, NSW. The role is contract through to 30 June 2027, offering strategic direction and hands-on leadership to shape governance, risk, and compliance across faculties and corporate functions.

You will own the change management approach, drive adoption, and work with senior leaders to embed sustainable change across a complex university-wide environment.

Change Lead | Major Transformation Program Sydney, NSW | Contract through to 30 June 2027

Lead the change strategy for a major university-wide transformation, shaping how a large and complex organisation manages third-party relationships, governance, risk and compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Change Lead to provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across a significant transformation program introducing new processes, governance frameworks and supporting technology capabilities.

This is an opportunity to influence change at an organisational level, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across a diverse, complex environment.

The opportunity You will take ownership of the overall change management approach, ensuring the organisation is equipped to adopt new ways of working and embed sustainable change across faculties, divisions and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and lead the end-to-end change management strategy and delivery roadmap.
• Oversee change impact assessments, organisational readiness and adoption planning.
• Provide strategic advice to program sponsors, senior executives and governance forums.
• Coordinate change activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
• Lead and support a dedicated change management team.
• Monitor change saturation, readiness and adoption outcomes, implementing interventions where required.
• Support benefits realisation and the successful transition to the new operating model.

About you You are a senior change professional who can operate strategically while remaining close to delivery. You bring experience leading complex organisational transformations and the ability to influence stakeholders across large, matrixed environments.

You will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience leading change across complex business and technology transformation programs.
• A strong track record of implementing new operating models, processes, governance arrangements or enterprise systems.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and executive communication skills.
• Experience working within structured program and project governance environments.
• The ability to lead change practitioners, navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on measurable adoption outcomes.
