Job summary

HBF Health Limited in Perth is seeking an experienced Change Lead to plan, manage and drive the people side of technology change, ensuring adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working. Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading medium to highly complex change initiatives across technology transformation, process improvement or organisational change.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering change management plans, stakeholder engagement and readiness activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels, including senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills with clear messages.
  • Deep knowledge of change management principles, frameworks, methodologies and trends.
  • Experience in Agile and waterfall delivery environments; Lean and Service Design knowledge appreciated.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach and drive for continuous improvement of change practices.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Psychology, with accreditation valued.

This is a full-time position based in Perth on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

About the Role

The Change Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and driving the people side of technology‑related change to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, tools, and ways of working across the organisation. The Change Lead develops and executes change management strategies that support the successful delivery and adoption of technology initiatives. Working closely with project teams, business leaders, IT teams, and end users, the role focuses on minimising resistance, maximising user engagement, and ensuring business benefits are realised through effective change adoption. This initiative will transform foundational data capabilities, enabling advanced analytics, improved governance, and AI‑driven self‑service insights across theorganisation. With a project budget of approximately $4.5m and executive sponsorship at the highest levels, this role will play a critical part inmobilisingand delivering a complex portfolio of work spanning data engineering, analytics, governance, and technology platform uplift. You will work with cross‑functional teams, working across key dependencies (including Tableau Cloud migration, Snowflake Cortex enablement, and data pipeline uplift).

In this role, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and project teams.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans and influence key decision-makers.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Design and execute communication strategies that clearly articulate the purpose, benefits, and impacts of the change.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across project and business teams.
  • Support leaders in managing team transitions.
About You

You're an experienced change professional who thrives on helping people successfully navigate change. With a proven track record delivering complex organisational and technology change initiatives, you're confident partnering with leaders, influencing stakeholders and translating change strategy into practical outcomes. You bring a strong understanding of change management methodologies, exceptional communication skills and a passion for continually improving the way change is embedded across an organisation.

Ideally, you will have:
  • Significant experience leading medium to highly complex change initiatives across areas such as technology transformation, process improvement, organisational change or business transformation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering change management plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, change impact assessments and readiness activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage effectively at all levels, including senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and meaningful messages.
  • Deep knowledge of change management principles, frameworks, methodologies and emerging industry trends.
  • Experience working across both Agile and waterfall delivery environments, with an understanding of Lean and Service Design principles highly regarded.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of change practices.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Psychology or a related discipline, with change management accreditation highly regarded.
