HBF Health Limited is seeking a Senior Manager Operational Resilience to join our Risk function as a Line 2 professional. You will provide expert oversight across operational, technology and cyber resilience, influencing how risks are identified, managed and monitored.
In this senior, individual contributor role, you will work with Control Assurance, uplift resilience capability, and support APRA standards CPS 220, CPS 230 and CPS 234, delivering evidence‑based insights to senior leaders.
At HBF, we're focused on building the resilience needed to continue supporting our members through disruption. As the Senior Manager Operational Resilience, you'll join our specialist Risk function as a senior Line 2 professional, providing oversight across operational resilience, technology resilience and cyber resilience risk. This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll provide expert advice and constructive challenge, influencing how resilience risks are identified, managed and monitored.
Working closely with the Control Assurance function, you'll contribute specialist input into resilience, technology and cyber control assurance activities while helping uplift resilience capability across HBF. You'll support compliance with APRA standards including CPS 220, CPS 230 and CPS 234, contribute to resilience maturity assessments and transformation initiatives, and provide clear, evidence‑based insights to senior leaders and governance forums.
Most importantly, you'll help strengthen HBF's ability to withstand, respond to and recover from disruption.
Key responsibilities include Lead independent Line 2 oversight of operational resilience frameworks and practices aligned to CPS 220, CPS 230 and CPS 234. Assess the resilience of critical operations, services, technology assets and third‑party dependencies. Review business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management and resilience testing activities. Support APRA engagements, self‑assessments, prudential submissions and remediation activities. Monitor disruption events and incident trends, challenging remediation actions and lessons learned. Deliver evidence‑based reporting and insights to senior leadership. Drive continuous improvement in resilience capability, preparedness, response and recovery arrangements.
About you You are an experienced Line 2 risk professional who can combine deep operational resilience expertise with practical, constructive challenge.
