HBF Health Limited is seeking a Senior Detection & Response Engineer to strengthen cyber resilience across on‑premises, cloud and SaaS environments. You will drive automation, enhance detection and response capabilities, and work with stakeholders to protect systems, data and members from evolving threats.
You will join a technically strong team, comfortable taking ownership, with hybrid work options and opportunities to influence security outcomes across the organisation.
This is a permanent full-time position open to candidates in Perth or Sydney.
As a Senior Detection & Response Engineer, you'll play a key role in strengthening HBF's cyber resilience capability through the engineering, operation and continuous improvement of our cyber defence technologies. Working across on-premises, cloud and SaaS environments, you'll enhance detection and response capabilities, drive automation initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to protect HBF's systems, data and members from evolving cyber threats.
You're a technically strong cyber security professional with experience building and operating detection and response capabilities in a complex environment. You combine hands-on engineering expertise with a proactive mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You'll be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with others to solve complex security challenges and help keep the organisation secure.
