Job summary

Goodstart Proserpine is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead the centre, guide teachers and educators, and strengthen community connections. You will manage operations, drive quality outcomes, and ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment for children aged six weeks to school age.

You will oversee strategic planning, enrolment growth, and a revenue-generating program while upholding our not-for-profit standards and national quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko platform).

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke learning program developed with global leaders in pedagogical practice.
• Build and lead a talented team, promoting reflective practice and continual improvement.
• Plan for the centre's future, grow enrolments, and maintain a revenue-generating operation.

Employment Type: 12 months Fix Term Full Time – 38 Hours

Pay: $58.38 - $71.79 per hour, based on qualification and experience

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
