Job summary

Goodstart Belmont is seeking a Centre Director to lead and develop the centre, guiding teachers and educators, building strong relationships with families and the community. You will drive high-quality learning experiences and ensure the centre operates with strong financial and operational performance.

You will manage change, foster reflective practice, and plan for growth while upholding our not-for-profit ethos and inclusive culture. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in disadvantaged areas.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training.

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

You’ll Need

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
