Job summary

Goodstart Huntley Street is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead the centre and support teachers and educators. You will guide operations, nurture relationships with families and the community, and drive a high-quality early childhood program.

You will manage attendance, plan for growth, and ensure a financially sustainable centre while delivering our learning program and fostering reflective leadership across the team.

Qualifications

• Have a Diploma or bachelor’s in early childhood education (or working towards).
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

About Goodstart Huntley Street

• Architecturally designed early learning centre, purpose-built by the City of Sydney.
• Licensed for 80 children, catering for ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Affordable, community-focused service located in Sydney's vibrant inner suburbs.
• Long day care operating from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
