Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Rockhampton is seeking an experienced educator leader to champion our commitments and embed a welcoming culture. You will guide classroom curriculum and pedagogical documentation with support from the leadership team and operations manager.

You will build strong connections with local families, participate in tours and orientations, and ensure alignment with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education.
• Current working with children’s checks and safeguarding training.
• Experience leading and growing a team of educators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model the Green Leaves commitments in daily practice.
• Support operations with classroom leadership and pedagogy documentation.
• Engage with families and local community through warm welcomes and tours.
• Collaborate with leadership team to ensure compliance with NQF and EYLF.
• Work with Talent Acquisition to attract and develop educators.

About You:

• An ACECQA-approved DiplomaofEarly Childhood Education, or above
• Current State relevant Working with Children’s Check,Police Check + PRODA
• Current Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training
• Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government. Completion of 1 of the following courses will ensure compliance; CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Extraordinary leadership abilities with proven experienceengaging, inspiring and growing a team of professional Educators
• Strong knowledge of systems including Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook and ISS.
