Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning seeks an Educational Leader to guide a team of educators in Mackay Regional, developing thoughtful curricula and engaging experiences for every child. You will champion quality, support professional growth, and connect with our national learning program.

In this role you will mentor staff, coordinate learning initiatives, ensure safety and inclusion, and advance child-centered practice within rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher is required.
  • Working with Children Check (state-specific) is required.
  • Current Child Protection and National Safety Certificates are required.
  • First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012) are required.
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education.
  • Coordinate Professional Learning via our NLRDP and partner experts.
  • Foster inclusive, safe and engaging learning environments for all children.
  • Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.

About You:

  • AnACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or above
  • Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
  • Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
