Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is hiring a Cook in Adelaide to prepare nutritious meals for children, ensuring dietary requirements and allergies are met while maintaining high food-safety standards. The role supports the centre's daily operations and overall child well-being.

You will plan menus, order supplies, and collaborate with the Centre Director; qualifications include Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or childcare cooking experience and a Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
• Current SA Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training.

Pay: $31.36 - $35.44 p/h | Depending on Qualifications and Experience| + Casual Loading

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
