Job summary

Little Angels Early Learning Centre in Baulkham Hills NSW is seeking a Centre Cook for a part-time shift from 8am to 1pm to prepare and serve meals for up to 88 children daily.

The role involves following a four-week rotating menu, accommodating allergies and dietary requirements, keeping the kitchen spotless, and completing daily checklists and audits; WWCC and a Food Handling, Safety and Nutrition certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and auditing.
• Experience in a childcare setting is beneficial.
• Certificate in Food Handling, Safety and Nutrition is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals.
• End of meal time clean up (bowls/plates, utensils, serving trays, trolley etc).
• Following a four week rotating menu.
• Following alongside children's allergy and dietary requirements.
• Responsible to complete daily checklists/audits.
• Keeping the area clean and tidy throughout the day.

Providing meals for up to 88 children per day.

Meals include: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

We are looking for someone who is:

Is punctual and well presented

We are seeking someone who has:

Knowledge of food safety and auditing

Experience in a childcare setting is beneficial

Holds a Certificate in Food Handling, Safety and Nutrition

Holds a current Working with Children Check

Has the ability to maintain a clean environment at the highest of standards

You will be responsible for:
