About the Role

We are looking for a caring, organised and creative Centre Cook who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for young children.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea




• Creating healthy, appealing and child-friendly meals




• Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences




• Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety




• Managing kitchen supplies, ordering stock and maintaining stock rotation




• Keeping accurate records in line with food safety requirements




• Working collaboratively with educators and management




• Contributing ideas to menus and meal planning

Experience working as a cook in an early childhood education and care setting will be highly regarded. A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is desirable.
