Job summary

Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre in Kingswood NSW is seeking a warm, reliable cook to join our friendly team. This is a permanent part-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–2:30 pm, totaling 35 paid hours per week.

You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children aged six weeks to six years while managing the day-to-day operation of the centre kitchen. You will plan child-friendly menus, handle allergies and dietary requirements, order stock, and maintain records, working with

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a childcare centre or similar setting.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Experience preparing meals in bulk.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, allergies and dietary requirements.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• A reliable, warm and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snack each day.
• Plan and maintain nutritious, child-friendly menus.
• Manage allergies, intolerances and individual dietary and cultural requirements.
• Order food and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
• Complete food-safety records and temperature checks.
• Work collaboratively with educators and centre management.
