Goodstart Canning Vale Batman Road is seeking a Centre Cook to prepare delicious, healthy meals for children in a 85-place Exceeding-rated centre. You will plan menus, order supplies, and ensure food safety while accommodating dietary needs.

Formación

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required or equivalent childcare cooking experience.
• Current WA Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• Completion of National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform is required.

Employment Type: Part Time/Permanent (27.5 hours, Mon-Fri)
Pay: Up to $35.44 p/h + super

As a Cook at Goodstart, you'll create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• Work a part time roster of 27.5 hours per week, 8am – 2pm.

You’ll Need

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
• Current WA Working with Children Check
