Job summary

The Jaybro Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the Central Queensland territory from our Mackay Branch. This full-time role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies, and building strong customer partnerships across the region.

You will drive revenue and gross profit through a strategic sales plan, generate leads via cold calling and visits, and manage major projects and tenders from opportunity to execution.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling to infrastructure or construction sectors.
• Ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own your region and deliver revenue and GP growth through a strategic sales plan.
• Generate leads via proactive calling and in-person visits while expanding the customer base.
• Build trusted relationships with customers at all levels and deliver a WOW customer experience.
• Act as the main contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements from opportunity to execution.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high service levels.
