Job summary

The Jaybro Group in Mackay is seeking a commercially driven Branch Manager to lead our Mackay location. You will own the P&L and drive profitable revenue growth across sales, service, warehousing and last-mile delivery for the region.

Reporting to the State Business Manager, you will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets and forecasting, and champion safety, operational excellence and strong customer partnerships in a fast-paced, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within the infrastructure, construction, or related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting and overall performance.
• People leadership capability to coach, mentor and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong safety focus and ability to promote a safe, compliant workplace.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with a customer-first approach.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills with interpersonal strength.
• Technology and systems capability with CRM and business systems; Salesforce and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and drive growth across customers, products, pricing and sales mix.
• Lead a high-performing team across sales, customer service, warehouse, transport and operations.
• Drive operational excellence in order-to-delivery, inventory, logistics and workforce management.
• Build strong customer partnerships to drive retention and growth.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, wages, stock availability and cost control.
• Champion safety and continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and branch performance.
