Job summary

Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery invites a confident retail supervisor to lead our cellar door operations in Mossman, QLD. You will deliver tastings, drive direct sales and build wholesale relationships, while supervising casual staff and coordinating stock, POS, and weekly reporting.

With tasting floor hosting, content creation for social media, and involvement in light production and vineyard tasks, you’ll help grow our direct and wholesale channels while representing the brand at local

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on cellar door experience with sales results.
• Experience with direct sales, wine club management or wholesale outreach.
• Strong knowledge of Australian wine regions and engaging tastings.
• Content creation using a professional camera and basic photo editing.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Physically fit for manual tasks including lifting boxes and vineyard work.
• Excellent written and verbal English and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Run cellar door tasting floor and deliver guided tastings to convert guests into sales.
• Oversee daily retail operations: POS reconciliation, packing and dispatch, stock control.
• Supervise, onboard, and train casual staff during peak periods.
• Grow and run wholesale and local trade accounts; process orders and invoicing.
• Create and publish social media content and basic marketing material.
• Open and close cellar door; RSA compliance; weekly sales reports and simple forecasting.
• Support light production and vineyard tasks when required.
• Represent the brand at local events and trade visits with the winemaker.
