Job summary

Pyramid Residential Care Centre in Gordonvale, QLD is seeking enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our kitchen and dining team. You’ll help with meal prep, plating and serving residents with a friendly smile, while supporting the Chef Manager and catering staff.

No formal cookery qualification is required, and we welcome applicants with a positive attitude, teamwork skills and a genuine desire to help older people. Flexible part-time and casual roles are available as we continue to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food services or aged care (desirable).
• Understanding of food safety and safe food handling practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Friendly, caring and respectful approach to working with older people.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude and pride in your work.
• No formal commercial cookery qualification is required!

Who are we looking for?
