Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a Food Services Assistant in Port Macquarie to support residents by preparing and delivering meals as part of our Residential Communities team. You will help maintain a welcoming, person-centred dining service and assist with kitchen tasks in a busy care setting.

Working in our Better Together model, you’ll support residents’ dietary needs and collaborate with staff to ensure compassionate, high-quality hospitality in a single-location facility.

Qualifications

• A truly customer-centric approach with the passion to deliver real 'care' to residents.
• Availability to work flexible rosters across morning and afternoon shifts.
• Experience working in hospitality.
• Willing to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successful.
• Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 (2 Doses).

Your New Role

As a Food Services Assistant , you will work as part of a team to provide hospitality services to all residents, including assisting with the efficient preparation and delivery of quality meals.

You will enjoy working within our Better Together social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.
