Job summary

Ramsay Health Care is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end non-clinical category procurement across its hospital network. Based in Sydney, the role focuses on catering, facilities, waste, linen and nursing agency services, delivering commercially sound, fit-for-purpose solutions.

You will develop category strategies, build strong supplier relationships, and partner with stakeholders across sites to align operations with organisational objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in category management, ideally within healthcare or another complex, service-oriented environment.
• Experience across non-clinical procurement categories such as facilities management, catering, waste, linen or agency labour.
• Experience managing business and professional services categories, including records management, labour hire or agency services.
• A strong understanding of supplier ecosystems, including distributors, OEMs and branded suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
• The ability to translate operational requirements into commercially sound, practical solutions that deliver measurable value.

• Build and maintain effective supplier relationships across distributors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and global brands.
• Drive commercial outcomes through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier performance management and cost optimisation.
• Review and improve operating models across facilities and support services to enhance efficiency, consistency and service delivery.

About You

You are an experienced procurement or category management professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a practical, stakeholder-focused approach.

You will bring:
