Job summary

Australian Red Cross in Broome is seeking a casual Shop Assistant. You will welcome customers, lead volunteers, and help maintain a warm, inclusive store environment while delivering excellent service.

You will manage donations, ensure visual merchandising standards, and work closely with the Shop Manager to keep the store safe, organized, and ready for trade. Weekend availability is essential.

• Experience in retail, sales, or customer facing service roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good presentation and visual merchandising skills.
• Awareness of fashion trends and brands.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, lead volunteers, and help create a welcoming store environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist with donations.

• Support day-to-day running of the store and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
