Job summary

Manly Warringah Gymnastics Club in Cromer NSW is seeking a warm, energetic Member Experience Team Member for casual shifts on the Northern Beaches. You’ll welcome families, assist with trials and enrolments, respond to phone and email enquiries, and help with bookings and accounts to support daily club operations.

Experience in gymnastics isn’t required, but customer service, hospitality or sales experience is valuable.

Manly Gymnastics is looking for warm, energetic and confident people to join our Member Experience Team.

Our Member Experience team is the first smile families see when they walk through the door, the person who helps a nervous child get ready for their first class, and the friendly voice that helps a parent find the right program.

This isn't a traditional reception role. We want someone who genuinely likes people, enjoys having conversations and gets satisfaction from helping families.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of the team responsible for creating an outstanding experience for our members, including welcoming families into the gym, helping new families through trials and enrolments, responding to phone and email enquiries, assisting members with bookings and accounts, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Club.

A big part of the role is helping prospective families find the right gymnastics program and making their first experience with Manly Gymnastics a great one.

We're looking for someone who is:

Naturally warm, bubbly and confident

Comfortable starting conversations with people

Organised and reliable

Confident using computers and learning new systems

Happy working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly

A problem-solver who looks for ways to help

Comfortable with a customer service and sales-focused environment

Available for afternoon/evening and weekend shifts

Experience in gymnastics isn't required. Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, sales or another people-focused role would be great.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who fits the way we want Member Experience to feel: helpful, positive, proactive and human.

We’re a not-for-profit community gymnastics club on Sydney's Northern Beaches, providing gymnastics programs for children from their first experiences in the gym through to competitive and international pathways.
