Job summary

PCYC NSW is seeking a Gymnastics Coach in Hawkesbury to deliver safe, engaging classes and role model core values. The role offers casual hours including afternoons, evenings, school holidays and weekends, with responsibilities spanning lesson design and customer service support.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for working with kids and a willingness to obtain accreditation. A Working with Children Check and National Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Loves working with kids and creating a positive, safe environment.
• Willingness to obtain Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation if not held.
• Experience in coaching, youth work or customer service is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, safe and inclusive gymnastics classes.
• Design engaging lesson content for different ages and abilities.
• Support customer service and admin tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Create an environment that encourages resilience, teamwork and confidence.
• Coach across Kindergym to Trampoline, TeamGym to Parkour and more.

$34.96 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our PCYC team to provide positive experiences to young people.In this varied and flexible role, classified as a Gymnastics Coach under our Enterprise Agreement, you'll do more than just teach skills—you’ll role model our core values of Respect, Commitment, Resilience, Integrity, and Citizenship every day.

• Delivering exciting, safe and inclusive gymnastics classes


• Designing and planning engaging lesson content tailored to different ages and abilities


• Supporting customer service and admin tasks to ensure smooth operations


• Creating an environment that encourages resilience, teamwork and confidence


• Coaching across a wide range of programs – from Kindergym to Trampoline, TeamGym to Parkour, Cheerleading to Artistic Gymnastics

About You

Are you a passionate person and haveflexibility to work afternoons and evenings, school holidays and weekends? As well as;

• Loves working with kids and creating a positive, safe environment


• Has a strong interest in gymnastics or sport (Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation desirable – or willingness to obtain)


• Brings strong communication, reliability, and teamwork to the role


• Has (or can obtain) a Working with Children Check and National Police Check


• Previous experience in coaching, youth work, or customer service is a bonus!
