Job summary

BK Gymnastics is seeking a part-time Customer Service Coordinator to ensure every visitor has an exceptional experience. You will welcome families, handle class enquiries, assist with billing and support our coaches to keep the centre in top condition.

Engagement with members, promotion of programs, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for children aged 1–14 are key aspects of the role in our vibrant community centres.

Qualifications

• Must have a customer service focus and can-do attitude.
• Experience in administration or sport/recreation is advantageous but not essential.
• Availability for after-school time-slots (3pm–8pm on weekdays; Saturday/Sunday partial) and daytime hours possible.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support all members and their children in the Centre.
• Answer class enquiries and provide billing support.
• Deliver a warm welcome for first-time visitors and assist coaches to maintain high standards.
• Support Centre Manager with engagement, retention and marketing initiatives.
• Assist with stock control, presentation and on-site safety.

BK Gymnastics facilities and programs are tailored to the needs of the communities in which they are located and strive for “Active Kids, Happy Kids”. They will focus particularly on programs for children aged between 1 to 14 years old, but can be expanded to encompass a wide range of other activities, including adult and competitive programs depending on the specific community needs.

The Gymnastics programs including KinderGym, GymFun, GymSkills and FreeG Kids, Gymstar and Australian Levels Programs for Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics focus on building fundamental gymnastics skills through movement, coordination, balance and most of all fun.

At our BK centres, customers will experience a friendly and warm atmosphere with coaches and staff that will guide and encourage them guiding them through the foundations of our sport but also to be active, resilient and happy children in our communities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

BK Gymnastics is looking for an amazing Customer Service Coordinator to join our team part time, to play a large role in ensuring everyone who visits our Centre has an exceptional experience.

The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that from the time customers and their children enter our facility they feel welcome, engaged and support through answering class enquires, billing support, first class welcome as well as supporting our coaches to ensure that the centre is being maintained to a high standard.

YOU WILL ALSO:

• Ensure all members are welcome and supported when in the Centre
• Support the Centre Manager in customer engagement and retention programs
• Ensure all enquiries are being answered in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that you are working closely with the Centre Manager in promoting marketing programs and initiatives
• Assisting with stock control and ordering
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation in the Centre
• Ensuring the confidentiality, credibility and safety of all members on site
• Working with the team to ensure that everyone who enters our facilities have a good experience from beginning to end.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• Must have a ‘can-do' attitude and a customer service focus
• Enjoy working with children
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven history in customer service, administration or sport and recreation fields an advantage but not essential.
• Availability in key after school sport time-slots (3pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday am to 2pm - ** do not need to be available for all times **)
• Opportunity for the right person for daytime hours also.
