Job summary

Ignite is seeking Librarians for flexible, casual, 12-month contracts to support a public library network in Sydney. You will deliver reference services, assist with collections and digital resources, and help run programs that engage the community.

We value strong communication, ALIA membership eligibility, and a collaborative spirit. Experience in public libraries is preferred; training provided; close to public transport.

Qualifications

• Hold a Librarian qualification (eligible for ALIA membership)
• Have experience working in a public library environment (preferred)
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are confident supporting users with digital resources and technology
• Can quickly adapt to different teams and locations
• May have experience supervising staff or leading shifts
