Job summary

ARRCS is seeking a qualified Personal Care Worker for Home Care in Katherine, NT. This casual role involves visiting clients in their homes, delivering personal care, mobility support, meal assistance and light household tasks. You’ll travel within the local area and must have a reliable, insured vehicle.

Visa sponsorship is not available. The position requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field, with a preference for those with medication assistance experience and a Food Handler

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability or HACC (preferred with Assist Clients with Medication elective).
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate (3.2.2A standard).
• Experience in community/Home Care and ability to travel to clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care including personal care, grooming, mobility and meals assistance.
• Assist with daily living activities and social support while following care plans.
• Travel to clients' homes in Katherine and surrounding area with a fully insured vehicle.
